SPECIAL MEETING OF THE AVOYELLES PARISH SCHOOL BOARD
SEPTEMBER 20, 2022

Special Meeting of the Avoyelles Parish School Board met Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at approximately 4:15 p.m. at the School Board Office with the following members present:

Aimee Dupuy, President: Chris Robinson,Vice President. and Karen L. Tutor, Superintendent, Latisha Small, Lynn Deloach, Robin Moreau, Stanley Celestine, Jr., and Jill Guidry, Board Members; supervisors, and coordinators. Chris Lacour and Rickey Adams were absent.

On motion by Robin Moreau, seconded by Stanley Celestine, Jr., the Board entered into executive session at approximately 4:16 pm to discuss and approve legal matters. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

On motion by Robin Moreau, seconded by Latisha Small, the Board reconvened in open public session at approximately 4:24 pm. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

On motion by Jill Guidry, seconded by Robin Moreau, the board here by approves legal proceeding concerning the lease at Bunkie Detention Center. The Board will proceed with eviction and collecting unpaid rent, penalties and collect debt from the Buy Sale Agreement. The Board will also give authority for Superintendent Tutor to sign. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

There being no further business, on motion by Robin Moreau, seconded by Chris Robinson, the meeting was adjourned.
