SPECIAL MEETING OF THE AVOYELLES PARISH SCHOOL BOARD

APRIL 18, 2023

            Special Meeting of the Avoyelles Parish School Board met Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at approximately 4:20 p.m. at the School Board Office with the following members present:

            Robin Moreau, President; Karen L. Tutor, Superintendent, Latisha Small, Lynn Deloach, Jay Callegari, Chris Robinson, Jill Guidry and Aimee Dupuy. Keith Lacombe and Rickey Adams, Vice President were absent.

            A motion was offered by Aimee Dupuy, seconded by Jill Guidry, that the Board add an item to tonight’s Special Board meeting agenda: Recommendation to approve the purchase of lenovo tablet readers, cases and management software, funded by ESSER II Formula in the amount of $137,107.50.  MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

                        1.         Becky Spencer, Network Supervisor, addressed the Board with a recommendation to approve the purchase of lenovo tablet readers, cases and the management software, funded by ESSER II Formula in the amount of $137,107.50.

On motion by Jill Guidry, seconded by Aimee Dupuy, the Board approved the purchase of lenovo tablet readers, cases and the management software, funded by ESSER II Formula in the amount of $137,107.50. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

                        2.         Robin Moreau, Board President, addressed the Board with the applications for the graduating seniors applying for the Corrine L. Saucier Scholarship.

On motion by Aimee Dupuy, seconded by Lynn Deloach, the Board approved Mallory Kay Moreau for the Corrine L. Saucier Scholarship. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY

There being no further business, on motion by Jill Guidry, seconded by Jay Callegari, the meeting was adjourned.
