SUPERVISION

The Avoyelles Parish School Board believes supervision and evaluation of all School Board employees has as its primary purpose the increased efficiency and effectiveness of the employee in his/her job assignment.  Both supervision and evaluation shall be kept on an impersonal basis with constructive criticism accepted by the employee without personal affront.  The Board believes that an employee functions best and improves his/her performance when he/she knows what is expected of him/her.  It shall be the duty of the Superintendent, directors, supervisors, principals, and others to inform employees directly under them, through formal and informal means, what is expected from them in the performance of their tasks, duties, responsibilities, functions, and acceptable standards of performance.
