BIBLE DISTRIBUTION

The Gideon Society periodically requests permission of the Avoyelles Parish School Board to distribute pocket size editions of the Bible (King James' Version) to children in grades five through twelve. 

Permission shall be granted by the School Board under the following provisions:

• Request shall be made of the Board through the Superintendent
   

• The Board shall permit a poll of students and their parents in advance and results shall be made available to the Gideon Society.
   

• Distribution of Bibles shall be made by the Gideons to only those who accept the donation.
